I think Okposo will have a strong year. A would say under a point a game, maybe like 0.9 pts / game.

Great series of articles so far. Let's stay cautiously optimistic and say Okposo puts up 22,41-63 on the season and the Sabres squeak into the playoffs just ahead of the islanders

But you do know he's not a power forward....right....right?!

Kane-O'Reilly-Okposo...yikes.

That is probably going to be the most difficult line to play against. All three are heavy on the puck, all three can hit, and all three can score.

Really hoping Kane gets his act together....

Second line is no joke either.

That line makes me a bit nervous defensively though...

True....

I guess we'll have to keep an eye on the zone start aspect of it. Doesn't seem like a line you'd put out there all that often when the puck is being dropped in your own end.

I watched some, not all, of the Isle's playoff series w/ Florida this year and was paying close attention to KO. He has a nose for where the play is going, good anticipation, wants the puck, and not afraid to go to the rough areas (even though he is not super physical). And he stands up for his teammates.

Reminded me of a better version of Stafford, but with some cajones.

Glad to have him, but downside is we overpaid and overtermed.

That was kind of my point.

Though I don't think that line will be horrible defensively. It's just certainly not the first thing they focus on though

Very ironic in that there was a rumor a couple of years ago that they offered us him for Stafford and Darcy said "no".

girgens on the other wing would IMO be the best way to have it a well rounded line, if kane is on the first line

IMO it's
kane-ror-okposo
girgens-eichel-reinhart

or

ennis-ror-okposo
kane-eichel-reinhart

moulson and foligno are the wild cards of course
